When it comes to 'deep urls' as you call them, I would expect such a logging capability by various AV/endpoint protection solutions. Only because deep URLs with same domain are different does not imply that additional connection would be needed or used.

Different deep URLs of same domain may use the same connection or establish parallel connections. So it is the question of the OP is looking for the URLs or for the network connections. But even if these exist, these would usually not be known by installed applications.

I didn't check if portable Windows proxies exist. Such a corporate proxy might log all such traffice including deeper URLs as configured.

The portable Windows app TCPLogView reports IP addresses AND domain names, but still not full deeper URL.įor finding such deeper URLs, you'll need to check which application is reported and if it uses a corporate proxy. It reports the remote domain if available, otherwise the IP address. The builtin Windows resource monitor is not a portable app although it might succeed to start similar. Instead of the actual app vendor, you are just told, that it leads somewhere to the Amazon or some other Cloud.

With more and more apps moving into the 'Cloud', reverse lookup is getting less and less useful. I really wish some tool would be able to provide this information too. However, it will not show URL's.Īlso a problem of all these tools - the only log the IP of the connection and not the actual FQDN that was used to resolve to the used remote IP address. Searching for something with logging capabilities led me to Mooo Connection Watcher - a nice small freeware tool that does support connection logging. I like ProcessHacker, it's a great tool, but when it comes to network connection monitoring, it's lacking of logging capabilities - many connections are so short, that the disappear from the screen before you really could read the address and port. In addition most tools in this category don't log. 'Simpler tools' will not offer you insight into URL's, they will just show local / remote IP and port of connections.
